P0171 and P0174 Codes - Don't Replace an Oxygen Sensor Before Reading This

P0171 and P0174 Codes - Don't Replace an Oxygen Sensor Before Reading This

So your car's CEL (Check Engine Light) is on and you had the codes scanned at a local parts store. Your car has either a P0171, P0174 lean fault code or both stored in the computer, these codes are based on Oxygen Sensor (O-2) readings. A lean code or codes indicate that there's too much oxygen in the exhaust. Remember parts stores have employees that have good intentions but they may not have the experience necessary to interpret what the trouble codes really mean. These codes are based on oxygen measurements in the exhaust. A common mistake with lean codes is to replace the oxygen sensors. This could be a very expensive mistake that will not fix the problem. Especially if both codes are present, because the chance of both O-2 sensors failing at the same time is very unlikely.

Most likely the cause is a vacuum leak. A vacuum leak can be caused from a vacuum hose, intake gasket or maybe even a leak in the air intake hose from the MAF (Mass Air Flow Sensor). Listen for a hissing sound that may lead you to the source of the problem. Some technicians will use a propane bottle with a hose attachment to help pinpoint vacuum leaks. With today's computers it's not quite as easy to check for vacuum leaks this way because the ECU (Electronic Control Unit) will compensate quickly for the added fuel and a change in idle is harder to notice. Oxygen sensor readings can be monitored with a scan tool while checking for leaks with propane, by looking for increased readings when enriching the mixture. Another way technicians can check for vacuum leaks is with a smoke test. By introducing smoke into a vacuum hose on the engine, the leak will be revealed when the smoke escapes from the problem area.

Aftermarket air filters that use oil on the element can sometimes damage the MAF. Over oiling the air filter may allow some excess to get on the MAF sensor wire or element. This can alter the reading, fooling the ECU into seeing more or less air flow therefore changing the air/fuel mixture incorrectly. I once worked on a car that would not start that had a problem with a MAF. When looking at the wire in the MAF, there was a burned piece of trash that made it's way past the air filter. After cleaning the sensor the car ran perfectly. The ash that was on the MAF sensor wire was altering the reading by enriching the mixture so much that the car could not run. After talking with the customer, he said the air filter was just changed. This was obviously when some trash got into the air intake hose that settled on the hot wire of the MAF.

Fuel Pressure could also cause a lean condition. If the fuel filter is clogged or the fuel pump pressure is low, there could be higher level of oxygen in the exhaust also. Most of the time though, the ECU will compensate for the reduced fuel volume. So this is one of the least likely causes of a lean code.

Medical Billing And Coding Jobs: The Importance Of Understanding The Difference

Medical Billing And Coding Jobs: The Importance Of Understanding The Difference

It is often assumed that medical billing and coding jobs are one and the same, however, in actual fact the two functions, both of which are crucial to the smooth operation of a medical practice or medical facility, are quite different in nature. As a result, top notch billers and coders are highly valued and highly respected.

Individuals just entering the field of medical billing and coding, and seeking medical billing and coding jobs often wonder if both jobs can be performed at the same time, and the suggestion is generally not. Initially it is preferable to focus on either medical billing or medical coding as the training on and off the job can be intense. Naturally, being qualified and experienced in both areas improves a prospective employee's marketability and in turn, level of earnings, however, it is advisable to "walk before you run" - so to speak.

I will now provide a brief overview of each position and expand on a few of the basic job duties and look at some of the beneficial skills. The intent is to assist the reader in choosing an specific area when seeking medical billing and coding jobs.

Medical Billers

Depending on the size and scope of the medical practice or medical facility, the role of a medical biller can vary, however, in basic terms, they are responsible for managing the accounts receivables. In other words, the primary role of a biller is to ensure that the employer gets paid or reimbursed in a prompt manner.

A medical biller position is typically a 9 - 5 - five day a week type position, and is considered an accounting or administrative function. They must be proficient in typing and working with computers, particularly with Excel spread sheets, database management software programs, and medical practice accounting software.

Further, a basic understanding of medical law, medical ethics, and medical terminology is a must and is generally acquired through formal training and certification. Although medical billing and coding jobs are quite different, some exposure to medical coding is beneficial.

Most of the highest paid medical billers possess strong communication skills. Although administrative in nature, much of the role involves resolving complex issues, explaining insurance details, collecting overdue payments, and structuring repayment schedules. As a result, it is important to develop good rapport with patients, health insurance providers, doctors, other staff members, and other departments within the organization.

Medical Coders

The role of the medical coder, on the other hand, is to ensure that the proper medical codes are assigned to insurance claims submitted to healthcare insurance providers.

The process is broken down into three areas, the patient visit which is referred to as a "patient encounter" or simply "encounter", the diagnosis, which has associated with it an ICD code, and the services rendered, which has associated with it a CPT code. A medical coder must ensure that the codes are correct prior to submitting the claim forms, otherwise, reimbursement will be delayed.

A good coder must possess a strong attention to detail and have some perfectionist attributes. A basic understanding of medical terminology and a grasp of the requirements, policies, and procedures of major healthcare insurance companies are a must. In addition, a good memory and the patience to scan through coding is helpful.

In summary, although there is some overlap, medical billing and coding jobs do differ in terms of the basic job functions as well as the skill requirements. A medical biller role encompasses more interaction with people while a medical coder role is more behind the scenes. Assess your strengths, weaknesses, skills, abilities, and general personality type, and then make a decision as to which position would be the best fit for you.

The Evolution of HR Audits

The Evolution of HR Audits

Evolution is a process of change. Over the last 25 years we have seen significant change in the HR auditing process, the value derived from HR auditing, and the HR audit tools used. HR audits have evolved from a simple checklist of dos and don'ts or periodic affirmative action plans to a comprehensive, sustainable process that:

1) is an integral part of the organization's internal controls, due diligence, and risk management;
2) is a fundamental activity of strategic management; and
3) uses sophisticated auditing products and consulting services. Increasingly HR audits are conducted of HR rather than by HR.

This white paper reviews the changes in HR audits, discusses the external and internal forces affecting the process and use of HR audits, and provides information about the leading HR auditing process.

Overview of HR Audits
The HR auditing process is or should be an independent, objective, and systematic evaluation that provides assurance that:
1) compliance and governance requirements are being met;
2) business and talent management objectives are being achieved;
3) human resource management risks are fully identified, assessed, and managed; and
4) the organization's human capital adds value.
Under this definition, HR audits are more than an audit activity that solely collects and presents evidence of compliance. HR audits are increasingly expected to look behind and beyond the organization's assertions of sound and proper HR management practices and to assess the assumptions being made, to benchmark the organization's processes and practices, and to provide the necessary consultative services that help the organization achieve its business goals and objectives.

External and Internal Forces
Numerous external forces and factors have had an impact on the demand for and scope of HR audits. First, in the global economy, human capital is becoming the single most important determinant of competitiveness, productivity, sustainability, and profitability. Increasingly, the organization's human capital is being recognized as the source of innovation and a driver of business success. Thus to be effective in the global economy, HR audits must be diagnostic, predictive, and action oriented.

Second, a confluence of economic, political, and social factors, including corporate scandals, the failure of the financial industry to adequately assess risks, and increasing stockholder initiatives, have resulted in increased statutory and regulatory requirements, a call for greater transparency, and increased internal and external audit activity. Consider:

1) Sarbanes-Oxley requires effective internal controls. While Sarbanes-Oxley specifically requires effective internal financial controls, the financial and organizational costs of employment related claims and litigation can have a material effect on an organization's bottom line; can have a negative impact on earnings per share and the organization's valuation; and because employment litigation can negatively affects the organization's employment brand, can impact the organization's long-term sustainability.

2) Securities and Exchange Commission Guidelines require management to "...exercise reasonable management oversight." If human capital is one of the organization's most important assets it is certainly one of the organization's largest expenses is it not reasonable to expect that management applies the same level of oversight and due diligence to the management of the organization's human capital as it does to the management of the organization's other assets.

3) The U.S. Federal Sentencing Guidelines require that management demonstrate that it took reasonable steps to engender an organizational culture of compliance and to "monitor and audit" compliance activities, behaviors, and results. Ethical conduct and legal compliance, including nondiscriminatory employment practices, are achieved by management setting "the tone at the top." Audits including HR audits provide the C-suite and boards of directors with important feedback about how effectively they are communicating the message.

4) Governmental agencies are attacking systemic noncompliance. The EEOC strongly encourages employers to conduct comprehensive HR audits as a tool to ensure that systemic discrimination does not exist. The OFCCP considers self-assessments a "best practice' and in June 2006 issued its final voluntary guidelines for self-evaluation of compensation practices. The U.S. DOL considers wage and hour self-audits as a valuable tool in ensuring compliance, and the Department of Homeland Security (DHS) and immigration attorneys encourage employers to self-audit their I-9s and hiring processes and practices to ensure compliance with U.S. immigration laws.

5) Venture capitalists, investors, and stockholders are scrutinizing organizations' human resource management practices, processes, and outcomes and using HR audits to help them properly valuate an organization's human capital asset, expose liabilities, and perform due diligence.

6) Recognizing the importance of the organization's human capital asset and the risks associated with misaligned, mismanaged, and unlawful employment practices, internal auditors and risk managers are assuming a leadership role in developing HR auditing standards and in designing and conducting HR audits.

Designing and Conducting HR Audits
While an organization's size, industry, financial health, commitment to becoming a "best place to work," and business objectives and imperatives affect the scope and urgency of the HR audit process, we have noted some common features, attributes, and objectives in HR audits recently conducted.

1) HR audits are becoming increasingly complex and multi-dimensional. While ensuring compliance is still a basic goal of HR audits, other objectives include:

A. Ensuring alignment of HR management and employment practices with the organization's business objectives.

B. Assessing the outcomes of the organization's employment processes, policies, practices, and outcomes.

C. Developing the right human capital measurements and HR metrics to allow the organization to calculate and measure the value added by human resources, to determine the ROI and the return on the human capital asset, to measure the outcomes of employment policies and practices and the achievement of EEO and diversity goals, and to benchmark best practices.

D. Ensuring due diligence, including: uncovering hidden liabilities and assets, identifying vulnerabilities to be corrected, and identifying opportunities to be attacked.

E. Developing HR auditing procedures that become an ongoing and sustainable element of the organization's internal controls.

F. Assessing and managing employment related fraud.

G. Developing HR auditing procedures that become an ongoing and sustainable element of the organization's risk management program.

2) HR audit reports are increasingly being used to report audit findings to wider audience. The distribution of the report on auditing findings is no longer limited to senior management. As noted above, an increasing number of third parties are expressing interest in the organization's human resources management. This list of external stakeholders includes not only investors, major stockholders, and venture capitalists, but also governmental agencies, NGO's, civil rights groups, and plaintiff attorneys. Since HR audits findings include proprietary and confidential information and in many cases produce discoverable information, the implications of non-management stakeholders reviewing HR audit finding are significant and create a potentially serious problem for organizations. As a result, organizations are spending more time considering the format, content, and the impressions created by their HR audit reports.

The Five Critical Components of the HR Audit Process
Recognized as setting the standard in HR auditing, the new edition of the ELLA®, the Employment-Labor Law Audit™, the leading HR auditing tool, incorporates the five critical components of an HR audit into the HR audit process. These five critical components, which should be addressed in every HR audit, are shown and discussed below in the HR Audit Model™.

1) Activities: The starting point of the HR auditing process is a review of the organization's activities, that is, the tasks and actions that create or implement employment policies, practices, procedures, and programs. Activities include such actions as the promulgation of an EEO policy statement and other employment policies, and the posting of required employment posters. The Activities component of HR audits is typically evaluated by using a "checklist approach," that is, the item is checked off when it is completed.

2) Behaviors: Behaviors in this context are actions and conduct that affect either positively or negatively the implementation or effectiveness of the organization's policies, practices, procedures, and programs, and demonstrate the organization's commitment to stated goals and objectives. Examples of Behaviors include: the creation of a corporate culture that values and promotes equal employment opportunities, diversity, and compliance; the visible and unequivocal support by senior management for the organization's diversity efforts; and the budgeting of sufficient resources to achieve EEO compliance and diversity goals. Behaviors are frequently assessed using qualitative measures, such as culture scan and employee satisfaction surveys.

3) Risk Assessment: Risk assessment is the identification of current and/or future events that have the potential to cause loss, peril, or vulnerabilities, and management's willingness to accept those risks. Risk assessment is also the identification of events or conditions that create new opportunities for the organization to achieve its business objectives. Risk assessment provides management with the information to make informed decision about the allocation of the organization's human, physical, and financial capital and about effective ways to eliminate, mitigate, control, or transfer those risks. Human resource management and employment practices liability related risks include: employment law and regulation compliance failures; lost business opportunities due to the failure to attract, hire, and retain top talent; intangible asset losses due to turnover and the loss of top talent and key employees; ineffective staff development and succession planning; and lower profitability due to the inability to control labor costs. HR auditing activities include assessments of the external and internal factors that impact human resource management and employment practices - including:
1) the economy;
2) legal, regulatory, and litigation trends; and
3) demographic and structural changes in the workplace and work force.

4) Internal Controls: Internal controls are processes, tests, and assessments that help ensure compliance, manage risks, identify fraud, and help ensure the achievement of organizational goals. HR auditing activities include:
1) assessments of the effectiveness and efficiency of HR management processes, policies, practices, and procedures;
2) the reliability and accuracy of HR management reporting; and
3) the level of compliance with: laws and regulations; industry and professional standards; codes of conduct and ethics; organizational policies; and budgets.

5) Outcomes: Outcomes are quantitative and qualitative measurements and metrics that measure and help assess the achievement of organizational goals and objectives. HR auditing activity includes the identification of metrics used by the organization to measure organizational and individual performance; the assessment of results by comparing actual results against projected results, budgets, and internal and external standards; and a description of the activities, behaviors, and internal controls that are needed to maintain or improve future results.

The value of the HR Audit Model™ is that it helps organizations:
1) assess current HR management and employment practices;
2) identify and diagnosis systemic problems;
3) evaluate and predict the impact of corrective measures;
4) develop a plan of action; and
5) determine the ROI of such actions.
Using the ELLA®, organizations enhance the value of their human capital, reduce their exposure to employment related liabilities, and improve their ability to achieve business objectives.

5 Warning Signs Your Transmission is About to Fail

5 Warning Signs Your Transmission is About to Fail

Your car's transmission is designed to operate smoothly for years. Even though there are myriad moving parts working together, and each can potentially malfunction, the assembly should be free of problems for at least 100,000 miles. With proper maintenance, it can last twice as long.

When problems arise, they are usually obvious. You'll see, feel, or hear leaks, lurching, and whining (respectively). Unfortunately, many drivers ignore these indicators, hoping they'll resolve themselves. It never happens. The underlying issue continues to worsen until the transmission eventually needs costly repairs.

This article will help you avoid that scenario. I'll describe five clear warning signs your vehicle's transmission is on the verge of failure.

Tip 1 - Is Your Engine Light On?

Years ago, the engine light implied there was a problem with your engine. This is still the case, but cars are designed with much more complexity these days. Sensors constantly transmit data regarding your vehicle's operation while you're on the road. This data includes air intake, coolant levels, throttle position, and more. These sensors can also note small aberrations while shifting, many of which will escape your notice. The data is sent to the computer, which triggers the "check engine" light.

If the light comes on, have a mechanic pull the trouble codes from the computer. Alternatively, you can buy a diagnostic scanner (as low as ) and pull the codes yourself to see whether they suggest a problem with your transmission.

Tip 2 - Are There Leaks Under Your Car?

Fluid courses through your transmission to provide lubrication to the moving parts and transfer heat away from the assembly. Without a sufficient supply of this fluid, your tranny would overheat in the same way your engine would without oil. The problem is, there are many seals and gaskets in the assembly that can wear out over time. When they do, they develop leaks.

If you notice a few drops of reddish fluid on the ground underneath your tranny, there's a good chance the assembly is leaking. Check the fluid level immediately and replenish it if it's low. Then, have your mechanic find and fix the leak before it worsens and becomes more expensive to resolve.

Tip 3 - Does Your Car Whine Or Hum?

A transmission under stress may emit a high-pitched whine or a low-pitched hum. Symptoms vary by vehicle - even those of the same make and model - since each is designed a little differently. Whatever issue is causing these two sounds will persist until it is resolved. If the issue is neglected, it will likely worsen and eventually, lead to the assembly's failure.

Tip 4 - Do You Hear - Or Feel - Grinding?

This warning sign is more prevalent with cars equipped with a manual transmission. The grinding sound might be caused by a worn clutch or the collars sitting between the gears on the differential. In both cases, the problem should be considered a priority.

An automatic is less likely to grind, but may shake when the assembly tries to find the right gear. This shaking may be accompanied by a lurching sensation or clunking sound. Given that the tranny should always shift seamlessly, this is an indication that something is wrong and needs to be addressed.

Tip 5 - Is There Hesitation While Shifting?

As noted, under normal circumstances, your transmission should shift smoothly. In fact, you should barely notice the gears changing. Hesitation means there is a problem in the assembly that is affecting its ability to find the right gear. On an automatic, it typically occurs when you're trying to shift in or out of "Park," though it can also occur while you're driving. On a stick-shift (i.e. manual tranny), it will often happen when one of the drive gears is already engaged. In both cases, the problem will only worsen.

Transmission problems are usually costly to repair, and thus many drivers tend to ignore them, hoping they'll go away on their own. They never do. If you notice any of the above warning signs, have the underlying issue resolved as quickly as possible.

Automotive 101 - Diagnosing Technology

Automotive 101 - Diagnosing Technology

After a long hot summer and a mild case of writers block, I am going to change the tone a bit in my latest post. It is rather long, somewhat technical, but serves as an insight to a day in the life of an automotive technician- business owner, the technologies we deal with and the peculiar problems we face more often than not.

I recently serviced a 1999 Suzuki Grand Vitara with the customers concern of not being able to pass Delaware State inspection. The reason for the inspection failure was that 3 of the OBDII computer monitors were not set. The monitors that had not set in a passing state were; oxygen sensors, catalytic converter and evaporative system. Delaware Motor Vehicle provided the owner a printed copy of the "drive cycle" requirements to allow the monitors to run for that specific vehicle. The owner of the vehicle attempted 3 more times over the span of 2 months while driving a total of 1043 miles in an effort to get these monitors to set. Each retest produced the same failure results.

To help you understand the technology and associated terminology contained in the previous paragraph and the following story, I will first explain those terms in greater detail;

• OBDII- On Board Diagnostics Generation 2- all vehicles produced since 1996 were engineered with this technology in the computer system to meet Federally Mandated Emission standards.
• Monitors- Self tests performed by the power train control module (computer) on the various systems that effect emissions output from the vehicle as well as control the operation and performance of the vehicle. When a monitor "sets", it has passed the test.
• Drive Cycle- Conditions that have to be met for the various self tests (monitor) to set. A few examples would be engine temperature, vehicle speed, engine load, outside temperature, fuel tank level and internal tank pressure.

I connected one of our diagnostic scanners (a piece of equipment that cost 00 to purchase and 00 annually to keep updated) and performed a quick scan of the computer system to check for codes. I also verified the monitors that were not set according to the failure records from DMV. There were no faults stored in either current or pending status and the 3 monitors previously mentioned had not run. A review of current published manufacturer technical bulletins combined with canvassing the automotive forum we belong to, offered no quick solution for this problem.

With the diagnostic scanner still connected I selected all 4 oxygen sensors to monitor their activity. With the vehicle running, one of the sensors was operating at a fixed voltage rather than varying as they should, yet the reading was not outside the parameters to set a fault code for an obvious deficient sensor. To isolate the cause of this fault, I back probed the sensor to test the voltage, then tested the voltage directly at the computer harness connector and finally bypassed that circuit in the wiring harness with a jumper wire to verify and compare the various readings throughout the circuit. Prior to these tests, the possible cause was a faulty oxygen sensor, faulty wiring for that sensor circuit or an internal fault in the computer. Ultimately I replaced the failed oxygen sensor.

After retesting the system with the newly installed oxygen sensor, it was time to perform a drive cycle to see if any of the monitors would run. During the first 10 minute drive cycle, the oxygen sensor monitor set, leaving the catalytic converter and evaporative system monitors still not set. Delaware Motor Vehicle allows a 1999 vehicle to pass with 2 monitors not set, but I knew better than to call the customer and say it was repaired and ready for inspection. I allowed the vehicle to cool down for several hours and on the second 10 minute drive cycle; the check engine light illuminated indicating a fault with one of the catalytic converters.

Each monitor has its own criteria and set of prerequisites that must exist before it will run. There is also a hierarchy to how each monitor runs. In this instance, the catalytic converter monitor would not run because the oxygen sensor monitor had not set and the computer relies upon the oxygen sensors to test the efficiency of the catalyst to set that monitor. With the oxygen sensors passing their test, they were then able to determine a fault in the emission control system with an inefficient catalytic converter.

Since the catalytic converter had to be ordered from an out of state warehouse, this entire process took several days. With each diagnostic milestone, I called the customer and explained in the same detail I have illustrated here what would be required to repair their vehicle for it to meet our state inspection requirements.

Ironically, while in the process of replacing the catalytic converter I received a phone call inquiring if we do FREE Check Engine Light Diagnostics. At first I frowned, but rather than explain economics 101 to them, I directed them to call a local franchise parts store that offers free computer code checking, the required diagnostics and will then sell you all the parts for you to repair the problem. My mind wandered to the 0.00 bill I paid earlier in the day for a local heating and air conditioning company to diagnose our inoperative central air system for the office which took all of 30 minutes tops. That transitioned to the recent notice that our medical plan was increasing by 12% this year and the impact that will have on our current monthly premium that already amounts to a modest mortgage payment. The phone rings, it's an appointment, which causes me to focus on their request. Afterward; I take a deep breath and go back to the repair task at hand.

After completing the replacement of the failed catalytic converter, I performed yet another 10 minute drive cycle and this time all the monitors set except for the evaporative system (one of the hardest monitors to get to run and set). No pending faults were stored in the computer system, so I was 99% confident that the vehicle would now pass Delaware State inspection. The following day the customer called to report that the vehicle finally passed.

Gone are the days we could open the hood and turn a screw or simply adjust the timing and the car ran better. Does it bother me that technology has accelerated to levels well beyond those of comparable trades yet we fail to be recognized accordingly? Absolutely! But at the end of the day I head home with a strong sense of accomplishment in having a satisfied customer which makes it worthwhile.

OBD1 Codes Secrets for Domestic Vehicles

OBD1 Codes Secrets for Domestic Vehicles

For vehicles made after 1996, retrieving the codes of the check engine light in your dash panel is simple. All you need to do is find your diagnostic connector located under the dash by the driver side. You can then hook up a scanner and the codes will be displayed for you. If you don't have any scanner like most drivers, you can bring your vehicle to any local automotive parts store and they will usually scan the codes FREE for you. However, for vehicles made on or before 1995, there is only one cheap way to get it: You do it yourself!

On board diagnostic (OBD) was designed on vehicles equipped with electronic fuel injection so you can generally retrieve the codes yourself. No need buying a scanner or running to any parts stores to check the engine light. This system is called obd1 and applies to most vehicles made before 1995 for domestics and 1993 on imports. In this article, I will discuss the methods used by domestic vehicle manufacturers on how to check the engine lights in their cars and trucks.

For GM domestic vehicles made before 1995, the diagnostic connector is located under the dash panel by the driver side. To get the check engine codes to flash in your dash panel, use a jumper wire or a paper clip and connect terminals A and B of the diagnostic connector. Turn your ignition key on with engine off and the codes should start to blink. All codes should start with code 12 which is one long flash followed by 2 short flashes. This code 12 means the diagnostic system is normal and will repeat itself continuously if there are no trouble codes. Otherwise, code 12 will flash 3 times before flashing the fault codes.

Ford owners can check their check engine light using the diagnostic connector located at the engine compartment by the fender near the battery. Getting the obd1 codes need a couple of tools: a 4 inch long gage 16 jumper wire and a 12 volt test light.
Both tools are hooked up to the diagnostic connector and when the ignition key is turned on (without starting engine) the codes will begin to flash in the test light, not in the dash panel. If there is no code, you will normally get code 11 or 111. On Fords, there are 2 test modes, the KOEO (key on engine off) and the KOER (key on engine running). Both test modes should be used to get the accurate evaluation of the stored fault codes.

Of all the 3 domestic vehicles, the easiest method to check the engine light is Chrysler products. Why? Because all you need is to turn the ignition key on and off a within 5 seconds and the codes will start to flash in the dash panel.

Counting the codes being flashed is almost the same for these 3 domestic vehicles and most of the codes can be erased or cleared by disconnecting the battery negative terminal for 1 minute and reconnect. Just make sure to check your service manual in case you have electronic equipment such as radio or clock that needs reprogramming in which battery disconnection is not recommended. Finally after performing repairs on the culprit code, always go for a road test to confirm if the problem is fixed.
